Meeting for Worship is at 10:30 AM. Potluck will be followed by the Program from 12:30-2:30PM

Noah White, Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting will lead PQM in the program. A Visual Walk: A Physical Definition to Privilege

The workshop will use a privilege walk to help attendees create a tangible understanding of, and their involvement in privilege. A walk consists of a circle of participants to simulate a life’s journey and the idea that all people are created equal. Then, a series of questions are asked one at a time, leaving time for all participants to comply with the statements. At the end of the statements, the group has a more visual/physical definition of privilege and what helps to sustain it. After the activity, we will break into small groups for participants to debrief and share results of the activity we as individuals, or as members of PQM are led to take.
