Quaker Principles

The Religious Society of Friends does not subscribe to a written creed. We believe that God is present within each of us and that, if we listen, God will guide us in all things. This is the foundation of our worship and of our lives. We believe that faithfully following God's calling requires careful discernment and testing with our religious community.

The Quaker way of life emphasizes integrity, simplicity, and the equality of all persons as God's children.

We believe that we have been especially called to witness against violence in our personal lives, in our communities, and in the world. We seek to live lives that remove the causes of war and other forms of violence.

You can find much more information and suggestions for further reading on the Friends General Conference website. You are also welcome to ask any of our members questions! We welcome all spiritual seekers in our meetings for worship.
