Interest groups are created by two or more Quakers, inside of a formal committee
OMELET BREAKFAST INTEREST GROUP
The Omelet Breakfast Interest Group is a small committee that plans 3 fundraising breakfasts per year at the Meetinghouse with the aim of helping support organizations that are working to improve people's lives. Each breakfast highlights a particular need, such as the Alternatives to Violence Project or Scholarships in Latin America, and features a speaker from the organization. Those present enjoy a good meal and fellowship, learn about the activities of worthwhile organizations, and help support them through their donations. All members, attenders, and guests are warmly welcomed at any of these breakfasts.
The RFFM Women's Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the residence. Following a potluck dinner, participants gather to share their experiences and lend support to one another, using a Quaker dialog format. Anything shared is kept confidential. All women in the Meeting are invited to participate in this opportunity for (F)friendship and loving support.
