(this coincides with NYM Interim Session, meeting the same weekend at Minneapolis Friend's Meeting. We hope that this will facilitate carpooling for kids in all directions!)

Theme: "Exploring Death"
Since our retreat coincides with Dia de Muertos- Day of the Dead- middle school clerks thought we could explore this theme together

To look forward to-

• Dia de Muertos art-making. . . decorating sugar skulls, papal picadas, altar-making
• Graveyard hikes, gravestone rubbings
• Learning about Quaker funeral traditions
• time in silent worship, worship sharing and business meeting together
• games, yummy food, f/Friends!
•  and of course. . . . MAFIA!!!! (which sort of fits into our theme, doesn't it?)

Do you have further requests of games, food, things you just really wanna do while the gang's all together? Questions about death/burials/ceremonies etc that we will make sure to explore? Please email me and let me know.

I really hope you can all make it. We had such a wonderful time together at NYM this May that I've been really looking forward to the fall retreat to continue our good vibes! Please RSVP.
