Textile Art Exhibit at the North Columbus Friends Meetinghouse

Carolyn Mann has been a creative artist, seamstress, and quilter for most of her life. Her art has been displayed in countless exhibits and museum shows around Ohio and beyond. Her recent banners in celebration of women’s suffrage are stunning and will be included in the exhibit (details below), March 5, 6, 7, at the North Columbus Friends Meetinghouse, 1954 Indianola Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43210. Feb. 24, 7:00-8:30 pm Meet artist, Carolyn Mann, virtually tour her studio, hear stories about some of her textile art and get a preview of the exhibit, including the wonderful banners celebrating the vote for women. Also that evening, because many of us have cherished family quilts, afghans, knitted items, we’ll have a “Show and Tell” time. If you have such an item to share, have it ready! You’ll be invited to show them on the Zoom screen and tell their story. PLEASE REGISTER: email susanTL04@yahoo.com. Just put “I’ll be there!” In the subject line. Add “will share” if you have a quilt or textile to share. We hope you’ll join us!

Exhibit Days and Hours:

• March 5, (Friday), 2-4 pm
• March 6, (Saturday), 2-4 pm
• March 7, (Sunday), 2-4 pm

Safety Procedures:
Masks will be required and available, social distancing will be practiced, gloves and hand sanitizer will be available. Call 614-620-3588 when you arrive. A maximum of 6 people will be permitted to be in the exhibit space at a time. People will be able to wait in their car or on our porch until signaled that the way is clear for entrance.
