Interest Group Discussions on Peace & Justice and Earthcare

There is still time to register for L.E.Y.M.’s first Discussion Forum focusing on peace, justice and earthcare issues next Saturday, December 5th from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  This forum is open to all members and attenders of monthly meetings. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore interesting topics in a discussion format with other Quakers from around your region.

The December topics are:

• Anti-racism
• Letter Writing as a Witness (Red Cedar undertook a “letter writing witness” patterned after Amnesty International’s letter-writing campaigns.)  
• Climate Change - This session is currently FULL. Please sign up for a different session.
• Open Discussion for Youth
• Foundations for Many Generations (listening to Spirit’s leadings, naming how our concerns are linked to one another)  

LEYM is working hard to create programming that is essential and meaningful for Quakers.  Please come and find the value in this event as another avenue for Quakers to express their voices and concerns.
