Dear Friends,
Please plan to join the Peace and Justice Committee for Second Hour on Sunday, October 3, 2021 after worship for the first of three second hour discussions related to the annual giving of Nashville Friends Meeting. On October 3, we will discuss our annual donations to the Camilla Caldwell Fund and also discuss our annual donations to Quaker Organizations. If you are new to Friends, this meeting will be a good opportunity to learn about some of the Quaker organizations and what they do. On October 24, we will discuss our annual donations to non-Quaker organizations. On November 7, we will finalize our plans for the annual giving for 2021 prior to November meeting for worship with attention to business. Please try to attend to let your voice be heard about our priorities in the matter of our giving. If you are trying to decide where to donate your own money, these meetings will be informative for you as well.
