Medford Friends Meeting is delighted to invite you to a concert by the the Jersey Sound Chorus on Dec. 1, from 7-8 p.m. at our Meeting House, 14 Union St. Medford.

The Chorus was chartered in 1962 as Medford Lakes Chorus into Sweet Adelines International.  In 1986, the chorus changed its name to Jersey Sound Chorus. It now draws members from throughout the Delaware Valley and is a top competitor among the 26 choruses in Sweet Adelines’ Region 19.

“We sing Barbershop,” they’ll tell you. “Not IN. a barbershop! We sing Barbershop harmony. It is a true American art form along with jazz and the Broadway musical.“

We are excited to host this chorus as they “make a joyful noise” in our 1814 Meeting House. No silence that night! The concert is free. Cookies are served later. Outside, the Village celebrates Dickens. Our House is decorated. Come on in!
