Madison Friends Meeting
Sun, Nov 17, 9:45 am: Quaker Topics: For what are we grateful? How do we express gratitude? This session will be devoted to reflecting on the many ways we know, feel, and express gratitude. Led by Amy Stambach, Ministry and Counsel Committee. – Downstairs, Margaret Fell Room
FIRST DAY (Sunday):
First Day School programming is shifting to "summer mode" beginning June 11. Rather than structured classes for each age group, we'll have a range of activities for children to choose from. It will be a little different each week, but expect crafts, games, outdoor activities when weather permits, music, baking, and special events.
August 13-19 - People Camp, a well-established program of Friends for a Nonviolent World, is a week-long experience of cooperation, community living, and exploration of ideas and issues. It will take place at Northern Pines near Park Rapids, Minnesota. Northern Pines is a comfortable and accessible facility on a lake that is suitable for boating and swimming.
Los Jalapeños CSA (Community Supported Agriculture from the Farley Center) delivers to the Meeting House on Sundays – to sign up for a share or for other options to support the Farley Center CSA's go to: http://farleycenter.org/farming/csa-farmers-markets/ The Deadline for sign up is May 15.
