Camp Woodbrooke Open House
Camp Woodbrooke invites you to an open house May 20-21.
We invite you to visit the camp on a spring weekend and enjoy some time in the hills of southwest Wisconsin's Driftless Area. There will be a chance to have a look at the camp's facilities, learn more about the camp program, meet some of the people who help keep the camp running, and explore the woods.
You can come Sunday afternoon and enjoy/learn about the camp or you can come Saturday afternoon, have supper with us, stay overnight in our cabins or your tent, have breakfast and/or lunch with us and enjoy the camp and people the rest of the time. There is a small charge for the meals. You are welcome to visit Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon without joining us for the meals at no cost. If you plan to join us for meals, please fill out the form (Open House Registration Form) and return it to us with your fee.
If you are coming just to visit and won't stay for meals, you don't have to give us advance notice - just show up. We will also be getting the camp ready for the summer sessions so if you want to help us clean/fix/etc, you are welcome to do so, but don't have to.
Camp Woodbrooke is a small non-competitive, ecology oriented summer camp located on 162 acres. Thirty four campers ages 7-12 form a close knit community as they hike, swim, play, cook, garden, go on overnights, toast marshmallows over a campfire, wade in the creek and make life-long friends. Woodbrooke's program is based on the Quaker belief in the unique worth of each individual, the value of cooperation in a diverse community and the creative exploration of our natural world. Founded in 1981 and accredited by the American Camp Association.
Camp Woodbrooke is located about 7 miles south of Richland Center at 30002 Shedivy Lane. A link to Google maps is here: https://goo.gl/maps/JjsoCSdA1Rr.
