First Day School Needs!

Many ways to contribute:

There is an ongoing need for Woodbrooke Day presenters to prepare a lesson for the third First Day of the month, when the regular FDS schedule is suspended. Presenters may explore Quaker history or concerns, teach a skill, bake cookies, or share a personal interest. Children learn something new and our community is strengthened by nurturing connections between children and adults. Time commitment is typically for one lesson a year. You can also volunteer to assist a Woodbrooke presenter by contacting the Program Coordinator.

One Roamer is needed to help with transitions between upstairs and downstairs and to make checks a couple of times during the class period to make sure that safety guidelines are being followed. Roamers may give brief assistance to teachers if needed. Time commitment is once per month.

We will be needing more lead teachers and helpers next year! Details will be forthcoming.

Are you led to nurture future Quakers by volunteering for First Day School in some way? Please give this prayerful consideration!
