To Parents and First Day School Children,

Mark your calendars for the Pancake Breakfast on September 10, beginning at 9:45.
This is the traditional start to the FDS year, so we hope everyone can make it and enjoy
the breakfast prepared by Bob Newbery and his young helpers. If your child would like
to be involved with cooking or serving, let me or Bob know in the next few weeks.
Watch announcements for more details about this syrupy celebration!

After the breakfast from 11:15 to 12:15 you will meet the teachers, divide into classes,
greet old friends and meet new ones, play some group building games, and get a quick
preview of plans for the year. Parent participation is encouraged, but parents can
choose to attend Meeting for Worship if they prefer.

September 17: Woodbrooke Day, with intergenerational activities for all children

September 24: First day of regular classes.

Please remember to return registration forms for this year and evaluation forms for
those who participated last year. Mail evaluations to Lianne Burnson at 2027 Rutledge
St., Madison 53704, or put them in the FDS mailbox above the coat rack in the
Meetinghouse. You can do the same with registration forms or just give them to
Randy or another FDS leader at Meeting.
