CFHR: Screening of White Privelege by Tim Wise

Cherry Steinwender is co-facilitating our retreat June 1, 2019, with Nell Warnes.  She's also the director of the Center for Healing of Racism (CFHR). She invites us for a screening of White Privilege by Tom Wise on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 6:30 PM at the CFHR on the campus of HCC central campus, 3412 Crawford St (Crawford and Holman), parking in HCC lot 9.  RSVP required to cfhr1@juno.com or 713-520-8226. 26th Annual Juneteenth Ally Award Luncheon, June 15, 2019, noon - 2 PM.  Details on CFHR's website:  https://www.centerhealingracism.org/center-for-the-healing-of-racism/24th-annual-juneteenth-ally-award-luncheon-2.  While this is not a LOFM event, it's an event Kevin King has benefited from attending in the past.  Those attending LOFM's 2019 retreat will have met Cherry Stienwender because she is co-facilitated it with Nell Warnes. Cherry is the director of Houston's Center for the Healing of Racism - host of this event. 
26th Annual Juneteenth Ally Award Luncheon Celebrating 30 Years of Healing Racism, preregistration required.
