Friends General Conference

Together we nurture the spiritual vitality of Friends

Lafayette Friends Meeting

Lafayette Friends Meeting is located at the corner of Stadium Avenue and Robinson St, in West Lafayette, within walking distance of Purdue University. We sit in a circle for worship every Sunday at 10 am to share the riches of reflection, love, conscience and friendship. The context of silence provides a time to give sincere attention to the heart of any matter, and that of God in every person.

Here you may find your peace, or your leadings from within. You are welcome to visit during other meeting times as well, such as the pot-luck brunch at 11 on the first Sunday of the month, "Tea with Thee" sharing circle, or our monthly Meeting for Business. Quaker Friends are not always quiet!

John Schumann is known locally for his landscaping & construction business. On Thursdays he's a Friend who visits the local jail. Schumann began volunteering 2016 after a familial introduction to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). He connected with a group of interfaith 'Navigators' who help inmates prepare for a better life on the outside.*

Public

We gather together each Sunday morning at 10am, then sit in expectant silence.  This quietness invites deeply personal experiences.
