Meeting for Worship at the Kennett Friends Meetinghouse is open to everyone. We invite you to join us to worship in the manner of Friends (Quakers) based on the principle of direct communication with God.
Meeting for Worship is at 11 a.m. Sunday morning.( 9 a.m. when we worship at historic Old Kennett Meeting on the last Sunday of June, July and August). Worship is usually preceded by a short period of singing or inspirational reading at 10:45 am.
To find out what may be happening on the day of your visit, please read our current monthly calendar of activities:
For in-depth guidance in understanding the beliefs and practices of Quakers, please read Faith & Practice. Faith & Practice is used widely as a guide to Quaker worship and community life. It is the best known publication of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting - the regional faith community comprised of the many local Quaker Meetings in our area.
