Quakers do not have paid clergy.  The work of the spiritual community is done through a committee structure.  Each active member of the community serves on one or more committees to provide for the welfare of the community as a whole.  These committees do such work as provide a worshipful atmosphere on First Day, visit the sick, care for members, write and distribute the newsletter, interact with the public, organize community activities, develop the budget, pay the bills, and keep the physical facilities and grounds in good repair.  The activities of each committee are described with the links at the right.
