On Sunday, July 17 following potluck, our Meeting will have an opportunity to learn more about this ministry from the two co-founders of the local ministry, Friends of Tent of Nations North America (FOTONNA). This second hour program will be under the auspices of FMM's Peace & Social Concerns Committee as the committee explores whether to recommend that FMM join about 18 other local congregations as sponsors of the program.

One of the speakers, Bill Mims, is a member of Langley Hill Friends Meeting, a Trustee of BYM, and former clerk of the BYM Peace & Social Concerns Committee. He has worked for 10 years for peace and justice in Israel and Palestine. The other speaker, Bill Plitt, is Executive Director of FOTONNA, whose faith as a Presbyterian is also leading him to work for Peace in the world, especially in Israel and Palestine.
