Framingham Meeting's First Day School ("Sunday School") hosted a BBQ and campout Oct. 21-22 to which all meeting members and attenders were invited.  We were joined by 6 adults and children from Worcester Friends Meeting's First Day School; our young people had gotten to know them from the New England Quaker weekend youth retreats and from Friends Camp in China, Maine.  We were joined by another meeting member for the BBQ and s'mores campfire roast, then played games for a while.  Two people slept in a tent out in our field, but the others opted to "camp out" on the floor inside the meetinghouse.  In the morning, we were treated to a bountiful breakfast prepared by the parent of several of our children.  Before meeting for worship, we went for a hike in the Sudbury Valley Trustees land and Callahan State Park across the road.  At Callahan State Park, there was a "dog party" where the dogs were wearing Halloween costumes!  We all had a great time, and want to get together again.
