This month we will discuss the article from the Nov. 2005 issue of Friend Journal titled: Bayard Rustin: Out from the Shadows of History, by Brian Ward. Friends Journal, 2005. The essay provides an overview of Rustin’s life and how his Quaker values shaped his contributions to the Civil Rights Movement and other progressive causes.
