The Easton Meeting's
Annual Commemoration of
the Feather of Peace

This year's featured speaker is Eileen Flanagan, author of Renewable: One Woman’s Search for Simplicity, Faithfulness, and Hope and Board Clerk of EQAT (Earthcare Quaker Action Team).

Her topic is:

“Trusting Spirit and Each Other”

She sees the "Feathers of Peace story as incorporating three elements:

• divine guidance,
• coming together across differences
  
• the power of nonviolence

—three elements of Flanagan’s work for climate justice. She will share what she is learning about how people can tap into their rich history and create new stories for their own time.

You may come for just the presentation at 1:30 p.m. or for all of the events of Easton Day.
The schedule is:

• 10:00 a.m. Registration
• 10:30 a.m. Welcome, the “Feathers of Peace” story. and Meeting for Worship (Program for Children twelve and under during Worship)
• 12:00 noon Potluck Lunch (Please bring food to share, place settings, and picnic blankets or chairs.)
• 1:00 p.m. Music
• 1:30 p.m. Presentation by Eileen Flanagan
