Come study and learn about the spiritual journey of the first Quakers with Durango F/friends. Quaker Foundations discussion groups will take place once a month beginning October 22nd and ending in April 8th. Although beneficial, it is not a requirement that one attend all seven sessions; so please join us when you can. All meeting dates are listed below.

Two books will serve as resources for Quaker Foundations:  Our Life Is Love: The Quaker Spiritual Journey by Marcelle Martin and Silence and Witness: The Quaker Tradition by Michael L. Birkel.  Both books are available for purchase at the meetinghouse, or they can be purchased online. We will also have a few copies available to borrow from our meetinghouse library. Reading assignments for each discussion are listed below.

Session leaders will provide initial themes, questions and queries for each session based on the assigned readings each session. (Marcelle Martin’s text includes questions at the end of each section.)  If you are interested in being a session leader, please contact Tracy Davis at [email protected]
