Dancing the World Together (The Friendly FolkDancers)

The Friendly FolkDancers at the recent Baltimore Yearly Meeting

Join us for an international folk dance performance, featuring medleys that bring countries together.

The Friendly Folkdancers, a group of folk-dancing Quakers who minister through dance, are coming to the Charlotte Friends Meetinghouse on Sunday evening, March 3rd.

They came to Charlotte some years ago and Friends still have fond memories of the evening dancing together.

The dancers will offer about 30 minutes of performance and about 90 minutes of dancing that includes everyone.

This "Dancing the World Together" tour not only includes dances that span the globe, but the program also consists of sets of dances from countries that are, or have been, at war.

The 2-hour program, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM is open to the community and all ages are welcome and
invited to attend.
