The Peace and Social Concerns Committee encourages Friends to participate in a program called We Walk Together. The group is affiliated with MeckMin, and their website explains how they got started and why. Each month, a different starting location is designated for people to gather to walk together. You can find the schedule here. There is also a service project associated with the location on a different date of the month, and that schedule is here. They’ve done a wonderful job organizing this community-building initiative, and it would be fun if some of us could attend together. So pick some out, let the rest of us know, and let’s go!
