DESCRIPTION OF THE COMMITTEE

The Social Concerns Coordinating Committee (which was approved as a new committee at Cannon Valley Friends Meeting beginning July 2019) consists of at least three members who serve 2-year staggered terms.  The Committee helps coordinate activities related to social conserns in order to inform members of the Meeting and provide support for those activities.  The Committee also works to enhance awareness among CVFM members about worldwide peace and social justice issues, opportunities for service, and activities of other organizations.  Please click on the document listed below under "Files" to see a more complete job description of the Social Concerns Coordinating Committee.
