DESCRIPTION OF THE COMMITTEE

The Nominating Committee identifies candidates who might be interested in serving on the Meeting’s committees and identifies candidates for the the roles of committee clerks, representatives, and liaisons.  The list of nominees is then brought to the Meeting for Business (usually in April) to be considered for approval by the Meeting.  The Nominating Committee meets as needed.  Members of the Nominating Committee are appointed by the Meeting Clerk (typically in December), pending approval by the Meeting, and serve for three years.  In their third year of service, a member typically serves as clerk of the committee.
