PYM Friends in Fellowship: Quaker Settlers, Innovators, & Industry
The event begins with 10 am worship, followed by a talk by David Cole, Director of the Hagley Museum, at the rise of Meeting, and closing with a visit to the 1704 William Brinton House.
Wiliam Brinton was the first Quaker to settle in the Brandywine area and participated in the founding of Birmingham Meeting and the growth of the Brandywine settlement. The 1704 House replaced an early log cabin.
