Together we nurture the spiritual vitality of Friends

News & Announcements

With the emergence of the delta variant of the COVID-19 virus, effective July 30, 2021 for the protection of all we have the following guidelines:

  1. VFM recommends that until further notice, all individuals (regardless of their vaccination status) should wear facial coverings while inside the Meetinghouse.

  2. Since singing is a high-risk activity, VFM will refrain from singing at this time.

  3. Pending further discussion, VFM still discourages handshaking.

“Either we have hope within us or we don’t; it is a dimension of the soul, and it’s not essentially dependent on some particular observation of the world or estimate of the situation...Hope is an orientation of the heart; it transcends the world that is immediately experienced, and is anchored somewhere beyond its horizons.

A great piece of Quaker history! This Friend is an inspiration.
