The meeting location is at Hickman & Lowland Streets.
Driving directions: From I-81, north or south, use Exit 17. Turn right if from the north, left if from the south at the bottom of the ramp, proceed just past the Taco Bell on the left side of the road and turn right on to Green Spring Rd. Just past the Creeper Trail entrance turn right on to A St., turn on to Kings Mtn Dr., then right on Lowland. ElderSpirit is on the right. The Meeting is held in the Spirit House at the far end of ElderSpirit Community.
Quaker House, a landmark Friends peace witness, is seeking a Director(s) to continue an active program promoting peace and non-violence. It is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, home of Fort Bragg, a major US military base.

Beginning on Thursday, July 30, Raleigh Friends Meeting's Peace and Social Concerns Committee is hosting a reading discussion group of The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander for all interested in racial discrimination within the criminal justice system.
