Effective JANUARY 19, 2020 our Meeting will be changing the schedule for Meeting for Business to make it easier for Friends to attend. On every THIRD Sunday -
Meeting for Worship 9:15 - 10:15 am
Meeting for Business at 10:30.
First Day School for children 10:30 - 11:30 am (Sept to May).
Childcare for babies is provided year round.
Fellowship Hour 11:30 to 12:30 with light refreshments and conversation.
The theme for Sessions was Provoke One Another to Love. In the plenary session on Sunday morning we heard ministry from Lisa Graustein (Beacon Hill Meeting, MA) inviting us into “re-membering” connection—with ourselves, with one another, and with God. She helped us to remind one another that each of us are seen, forgiven, beloved, and needed in the work of growing into the Beloved Community.
A four-page summary of the 5 day gathering is attached.
“All persons deserve to pray and live without violence. Quakers (Friends) believe there is that of God in every person. This Sunday, March 17, 2019, New Haven, CT Friends are holding our Muslim communities, especially those in Christchurch, New Zealand, in the Light.”
