News & Announcements
An ad-hoc committee met on 6/11, 6/18, and 6/25 to develop safe plans for a gradual re-opening of the Meetinghouse for in-person worship. Guidelines provided by the State of Delaware, “Guidance for Houses of Worship,” (6/2/20) and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting’s “Advices & Queries for Possibly Reopening Your Meeting House or Church,” (5/28/20) were considered.
“Still being able to attend Meeting for Worship, daily walks as Spring busts out all over, dropping off small bouquets and baked goods to neighbors, text chats with my lunch crew, and sewing masks and mailing them to friends and family are some of the activities that keep me going through all of this.”—Juliana Forbes
During our Fourth Month business meeting (on 4/5), we decided that the meetinghouse will not be open for meeting for worship until further notice. Alternatively, Friends may participate in our Zoom meetings for worship First Days at 10:45. Our Zoom Meeting ID is 863-908-9345; the Password is 1.
