At the request of members of FFM and with the end of the national emergency the Covid Committee has discerned that we no longer require masking at Meeting for Worship or other events at the meeting house. We do not discourage masking, as believing that masks protect the user, this allows individuals to make their own choices about risk in deciding whether to mask as they feel appropriate. None of the other guidelines have changed at this point.

On Sunday, February 19, 2023, Framingham Friends Meeting held our first ever hybrid Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business.  Blessed with an unusually light agenda, the meeting was run smoothly and effectively by our clerk, Lee Miller.  Feedback from Friends post-Meeting was very positive and we were encouraged that this experiment was a success.  At a recent post-Meeting discussion reviewing our experience of hybrid worship, recognizing the various pros and cons, we decided to experiment with business meeting in this format.  Blessed with success at our inaugural try, we recognize

The Meetinghouse now has a beautiful stone patio, a perfect place to gather outdoors after Meeting for Worship.  Many thanks to all who worked on this project!

Friends gathered on a beautiful summer day for a post-Worship picnic on the Meetinghouse grounds.  Every Fourth Sunday, all are invited to gather outdoors for an informal family style potluck picnic.  Bring a sandwich (and a chair or blanket, if you like) and celebrate our community together!

Thanks to our First Day School, Framingham Friends Meeting has a new Pride Flag to replace the weathered flag, welcoming all at the entrance of our parking lot.  Many thanks to Anne Anderson, pictured with the new flag!
