I am deeply moved by the incredible dedication of both the volunteers and staff of FGC. As more and more Friends become involved in our services and programs, I see tremendous spiritual energy that has the potential to transform meetings and individuals. FGC is all about helping Friends and meetings discern and develop their ministries and taking them into our world. I am happy to talk with Friends about our Religious Society and FGC’s role in it.

I have volunteered with Friends General Conference since my children were young. I have watched how the work of Friends General Conference has been important in their spiritual lives first as children and now as adults. I believe that we have listened carefully about how we should move forward as an organization in our service to Friends and this campaign will enable Friends General Conference to continue to respond to the leadings of the Spirit.

I've been on the staff of Friends General Conference for twelve years. During this time, FGC has done an exemplary job of listening to the Spirit, to Friends, and to meetings. We are helping to build a renewal in the Religious Society of Friends. This Stoking the Spiritual Fire of Quakerism Campaign is the next step toward enabling such a renewal to continue. I am extremely pleased to be part of it.
