Announcement at FGC Gathering
July 2008
One and a half years into our four year campaign, we have received just over $3 million toward our $7.25 million goal including two gifts and pledges of $500,000 each, and one of $250,000.
May 2008
$100,000 grant from Thomas H. and Mary Williams Shoemaker Fund to help us launch Quaker Quest in the United States and Canada. Announcement at FGC Gathering
April 2008
Central Committee campaign reaches $691,000 in gifts and pledges from 101 donors.
October 2007
Young Adult Friends Challenge announced. Six Young Adult Friends are offering a dollar for dollar match for all campaign contributions up to $8500 made by Friends who are 35 years and younger.
October 2007
Central Committee Challenge expanded. To encourage investment level giving, a second Quaker family has expanded the Central Committee challenge from $50,000 to $100,000. These donors will match $1 for every $2 of campaign gifts and pledges in the range of $5,000 to $20,000 from current and former Central Committee members and current and former FGC staff.

September 19 Open House
September 2007
$250,000 challenge announced. The donor will match campaign gifts in the $25,000 to $50,000 range on a 1:2 basis
August 2007
Renovations to the FGC offices complete. Open house scheduled for September 19th.
February 2007
Sept 19 Open House $50,000 Central Committee Challenge announced.

22 member Campaign Steering Committee appointed.

Stoking the Spiritual Fire of Quakerism Campaign is approved by FGC Central Committee to run from January 2007 through December 2010.
