Young Quakes Friendly Adult Presence in Training
There is a new volunteer staff position at the FGC Young Quakes conference called Friendly Adult Presence in Training (FAPIT). The FAPIT program was created to foster and develop leadership skills among Young Adult Friends. This year at Young Quakes 2006 we plan to have a FAPIT on staff. The Young Quakes subcommittee, working under the care of the FGC Religious Education (RE) Committee, created this position to offer hands-on leadership development for Young Adult Friends ages 19-23.
Young Quakes 2006 will be held October 6 to 9 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Please see the application form and the expectations for the FAPIT position for details. The deadline to apply is September 1, 2006.
