Regional and Local Campaigns and How You Can Get Involved
The Stoking the Spiritual Fire of Quakerism Campaign is about conversations: meeting together as Friends to raise awareness as well as money, to dialogue about our vision of a vital 21st Century Quakerism, and to discern together how to provide the resources for stoking spiritual fire. It is about Friends talking with Friends in meetings all around North America.
Can you help bring this message to your meeting? This campaign is actually made up of small campaigns of dialogue and discernment in many regions. The biggest single factor in determining where we should schedule a local campaign is the availability of local leadership that is willing to help with planning and solicitation. Each local campaign is conducted by a group of 3-5 or more local Friends who, together with FGC staff, offer their time and talent to bring the message of Stoking the Spiritual Fire to their meeting and to dialogue with others about contributing resources to the campaign.

Be and advocate in your meeting. In the last year of the campaign we will be asking Meetings to consider making a corporate gift to the campaign. We will be looking for a local advocate in every meeting who can interpret the message of the campaign to their fellow meeting members.
