Friends might want to take a moment to look at the brand new Advancement and Outreach Committee pages on the FGC website, www.fgcquaker.org! It features basic publications for seekers, information about affiliation with FGC, a review of the FGC magazine advertising program, and a map providing links to yearly meeting websites and meeting directories. The centerpiece is a collection of resources for local meetings to use for both outreach and inreach including an outreach review sheet to serve as a discussion guide, a how-to piece on press releases and publicity, tips for welcoming newcomers, background reading, and much more.
