CMR & Fit for Freedom

CMR works collaboratively with FGC programs, yearly meetings, and monthly meetings as they develop their racial and ethnic awareness, increase their diversity, and strive to address the impact of the institution of racism on our Society.

This committee also works at addressing racism and racial healing within the Religious Society of Friends, and particularly on special opportunities stemming from the recent publication of Fit for Freedom, Not for Friendship: Quakers, African Americans and the Myth of Racial Justice.
