How to Create a Profile on QuakerYouth
Hello Friends. Below are instructions on how to create a profile page on the new QuakerYouth website. We are working to simplify this process further. In the meantime, please use this blog post as a reference.
To create a profile page on QuakerYouth:
- Login or Create an Account on FGCQuaker.org
- Click on ”˜My Account’ in the left hand column
- Click on the “track” tab. You should see your name listed as a usernode type of ”˜post’.
- Click on your name, and then click the ”˜edit’ tab
- Fill in the appropriate fields (monthly meeting, yearly meeting, contact information).
- For the ”˜Display profile page’ field, select ”˜yes’
- For the ”˜Profile preferences’ field, select ”˜QuakerYouth’
- Click ”˜Submit’ at the bottom of the page
- You’re done. Check http://www.fgcquaker.org/qy/people to verify that you’re profile appears
- Login or Create an Account on FGCQuaker.org
- Click on ”˜My Account’ in the left hand column
- Click on the ”˜Edit’ tab
- In the section called ”˜Picture’, select browse
- Navigate to a thumbnail picture of yourself on your computer. Note: This picture must be smaller than 85 pixels by 85 pixels.
- After you select the thumbnail image, click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
- You're Done. Your picture should appear on both your profile page and your ”˜my account’ page.
- If you have a Flickr account, login to Flickr and then click on a picture of yourself.
- Click on ”˜all sizes’ and then click on ”˜square’.
- Save the Flickr square image to your computer.
- In step five above, navigate to the Flickr image you have just saved to your computer.

Okay, I have fixed the problem with the usernode module. You can now select the 'track' tab from your user page, and proceed with the QuakerYouth profile.
Well done on uploading thumbnail pictures. I'll need to simplify that process as well.
