  • New on www.fitforfreedom.org.

If you are patient through an initial advertisement, you’ll be rewarded by video of a re-enactment of a speech given by Quaker sisters Angelina and Sarah Grimke in 1838 before Massachusetts lawmakers.

  • Check out the new website for the Quaker Youth Book Project of Quakers Uniting in Publications (QUIP).

The Project will culminate in an anthology of writing and art by young Quakers ages 15-30 from all branches of the Religious Society and all over the world, and will be guided by an editorial board of young Friends. Editorial Board applications are currently being accepted – do you know a young person who might be interested?

This Project is inspired by Whispers of Faith: Young Friends share their experiences of Quakerism, which was spearheaded by QUIP and published by Quaker Press of FGC and Quaker Books of Britain Yearly Meeting in 2005.

The Project has found its web home at QuakerYouth.org. Hosting there is just one way that the Youth Ministries Committee is supportive of and involved in the project!

FGC nurtures Quakerism by nurturing individuals, meetings, and the Religious Society of Friends as a whole. We serve Friends year-round with a wide range of programs and services.   read more
