2012 Junior Gathering Staff Information

As of May 10, all Junior Gathering Workgrants have been awarded. Contact Patsy Arnold Martin if you wish to be put on a waiting list.  Fill out the application below ONLY if you have been asked to do so, or if you are in Workshop 43, Ministry with Children.

Junior Gathering is made possible through the gifts and dedicated work of over 100 loving adults. Each group of children has an experienced Coordinator that takes the lead on planning the week for that group. The Coordinator is joined by support staff to work with the children during the morning (8:30 - 12:15) or evening (6:30 - 9:15) sessions.

Workgrants are available for both of these support positions: a 50% Basic Fee* workgrant in the morning and a 40% Basic Fee* workgrant in the evening. Other volunteers serve in the afternoon at the Family Place or by helping with multigenerational activities.

Many Friends have found that serving Junior Gathering in one of these capacities is an enriching personal growth experience.

*Basic Fee: Program fee and room and board in an un-air conditioned double room with three meals.
