Trans Friends

FGC, the Adult Young Friends program and FLGBTQC are working to support the gender identity of individuals throughout the gender spectrum. To create a safe and welcoming housing environment, there will be gender-neutral, trans-inclusive housing blocks in the AYF and FLGBTQC housing clusters. 

The Gender designation (Male/Female/**) during online registration is used for roommate and bathroom assignments: choose ** if the M/F labels don’t adequately describe your gender identity or related housing needs. Gender-Specific Workshops:  Friends will be eligible to register for gender-specific workshops and events consistent with their self identification of gender.  In rare instances, where the workshop content warrants it, the Workshop Committee, in consultation with the Conference Coordinator and Clerk of LRCP, may permit further restrictions on the requirements for participation in gender-specific workshops. In such instances, the workshops will be clearly labelled.  If a workshop simply says "women only" that means that all Friends who identify as women are welcome.
