Short Description:
Worship through knitting our own projects and prayer shawls to donate as we choose. Bring machine washable, bulky yarn and size 13 needles for the prayer shawls. Bring writing to share which inspires you and your own projects (or try some of mine). No knitting experience necessary.
Long Description:
As a group, we will knit strips to be sewn into shawls or afghans. Each strip will be 60 inches long with variable widths. We will use the natural meditative quality of knitting to enhance our worship and help us choose the individual(s) to whom the shawls will be given.
If there is some facet of knitting that you have always wanted to try, bring the yarn and needles and I'll help you get started.
