Adult Young Friends Gathering 2012

For 2012, Gathering will be hosted by the fine folks of the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI.

The out-trip this year will be Tuesday afternoon.  More details to come!

A few of our (always optional) scheduled events are as follows:

• Our opening program and new attenders orientation Sunday night where we get to know one another!
• Support groups, which will meet throughout the week to check in on how everyone's doing. (Optional, like all AYF events).
• Meetings for Worship with attention to Business.
• An AYF talent show for anyone who wants to show off their amazing talents!
• Our closing celebration Friday night, where we will all be sad to part ways for another year!

If you want to stay in the AYF dorm (purely optional), you must choose the AYF Cluster when you register.  Our dorm space this year will, as usual, be in un-air-conditioned dorm rooms, so you might want to bring a fan, but you can probably leave your down comforter at home. The University will provide basic bedsheets and a pillow; however you might want to bring some favorite pillows and blankets. Families which include parents who identify as AYF and young children in Junior Gathering groups A-D (up to approximately age 5) are welcome in the AYF dorm.
