Interest Group Proposals

If you are interested in presenting an Interest Group on Wednesday evening, July 2, from 7:00 to 8:45 pm, please complete the Interest Group Proposal Form no later than May 7, 2007. We encourage you to consider an Interest Group in keeping with the theme Courageously Faithful, and we also welcome proposals that do not directly address the theme.

In keeping with the concerns to reduce the complexity of the Gathering, and also to control costs, we will not be able reproduce printed materials or to offer any audiovisual equipment for use by Interest Group leaders. Thus, we cannot accept proposals that require us to supply a VCR/TV, power-point projector, or sound equipment. You may bring your own equipment, of course.

If you are not registered for the Gathering you can still propose an interest group. If your interest group is selected, you may choose to come only on Wednesday evening, July 2rd, so that you are able to lead the interest group, without paying a registration fee. If you wish to participate in other activities on campus that day, you will need to register as a part-time participant.

There is a limit to the number of interest groups that can be offered. We will consider each proposal with care. If we are not able to schedule your interest group, you will be notified by May 30.
