All are welcome. We hope you can join us and see whether Quakers are right for you.

 

"Quaker Quest" is a series of free sessions that gives people a chance to learn about Quakers today. 

Each session will include three short personal presentations by Quakers from Scarsdale Friends Meeting on a set topic.

There will also be a time for discussion and a taste of Quaker Meeting for worship.

Refreshments and childcare will be provided as well.

Advance reservations aren't necessary and the sessions are free.

 

March: public sessions will be Sunday afternoons from 2-4pm on March 3, 10, 17.

April,  public sessions will be on Wednesday afternoons from 7-9pm on April 3, 10, 17.

 

The first topic will be Quakers and the Spiritual Quest.

 Sunday afternoon March 3 from 2-4pm 

 Wednesday evening April 3 from 7-9 pm.

 

The second topic will be Quakers and Environmental and Social Activism.

 Sunday afternoon March 10 from 2-4pm 

 Wednesday evening April 10 from 7-9 pm.

 

The third topic will be Quakers and Parenting.

 Sunday afternoon March 17 from 2-4pm.

Wednesday evening April 17 from 7-9 pm

Scarsdale Friends Meeting

The Quaker way is a spiritual path for our time that is simple, radical, and contemporary.

Using that as their motto, Quakers at Scarsdale Friends Meeting are offering a series of three information sessions on Sunday afternoons in March, to be repeated Wednesday evenings in April.
