FGC is sponsoring a group discount for the White Privilege Conference for a third year. Friends MUST register through FGC and follow the process presented when registration forms are available this winter.

In 2012, about 60 Quakers attended WPC13 and took advantage of a 55% discount on registration. Such a large group of registrants through FGC qualified Friends for the following cost savings:

ITEM2013 REGULAR FEES2013 FGC GROUP FEE
Conference Registration$435$228
All day Institutes$180$125
Shabbat Dinner$40 Non-negotiable

If you register through WPC’s website, you will NOT be eligible for the FGC discount.

In 2011 & 2012, local Friends and FGC sponsored a Quaker hospitality room where Friends could take a break when needed, gather for worship, and have a Quaker caucus for worship sharing. Donations from individuals were given to offset the cost of the room on-site.

In 2011 & 2012, local Friends provided overnight hospitality to out-of-state participants, as well as arranged carpools to and from the hotel each day.

In 2013, we hope to have local Friends provide overnight hospitality to out-of-state participants, as well as arrange for carpools to and from the Conference each day.

At this time, to be included in this Quaker group we are inviting Friends to

Pre-register for the White Privilege Conference

This pre-registration and discount is only for members of the Quaker community. Everyone else should register directly through WPC's website.

For members of the Quaker community to qualify for FGC's group discount, you MUST pre-register with FGC first. Once you pre-register, you will be sent a discount code to be used in the WPC registration. If you register through WPC's website first, you will NOT be eligible for the FGC discount.

For those who pre-registered by March 4, 2013, local Friends will provide home hospitality, as well as help arrange for transportation to and from the Double Tree by Hilton Seattle Airport each day.
