Workshop Description

For further information on the history of “The Dances,” see the website:

      www.dancesofuniversalpeace.org

Participants are encouraged to bring a photo, drawing, or sacred object that they wish to place in the center of the Dance circle.

Any participants who have led, or musically accompanied, Dances of Universal Peace are welcome to participate in the leading.

Bring an openness to experience words and melodies from various spiritual paths.

The Dances often allow participants to journey into a state of expanded consciousness.

Leader Experience

Francis is a certified leader of the Dances (through Dances of Universal Peace International) and has led Dances for about 20 years, at previous FGC Gatherings, at monthly Dance circles in Minnesota, and at various peace gatherings and ecumenical meetings.

Colette has led Dances for about 10 years at several monthly Dance circles in Minnesota.

Both are committed to group singing in various venues, and have co-led a Hospice choir for the last 5 years.
